SMPS and UPS

SMPS (Switch Mode Power Supply) is a power supply box inside the cabinet of your computer. It sources required power to all the equipment inside the computer.

If you have purchased a system with high graphic capability then go for higher watt SMPS.

SMPS generally costs around Rs 500 to Rs 3000.

If your area has frequent power failures or voltage fluctuations, it is highly recommended that you opt for a high power UPS. This will prevent any damage that could reduce the life of your machine.

A 600KVA UPS can cost from Rs 2500 to Rs 3500.
